Dance Floor Etiquette

YOU’VE SEEN IT
YOU LOVE IT
YOU WANT TO TRY IT!
COUNTRY LINE DANCING
IS GREAT FUN!

We encourage you to learn by offering lessons Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sunday’s at 7:30pm

But if you are new to the Colorado Cafe, and would like to try to learn a dance “off the floor”, we ask that you follow these rules of etiquette:

  • The DJ calls the dances to be danced to songs. He usually gives dancers a choice of 2, as well as room for swing/2-step. Please do not do “free style rock” on the dance floor.
  • If you would like to get out and follow the line dancers, please stay to the outside of the lines. Getting in the middle disrupts the dance and opens the floor to accidents.
  • Do not be afraid to talk to the dance instructors and get their assistance. That’s what they are there for.
  • Instructors offer private lessons to assist you in your dance career.

Please feel free to email Georgeanne@coloradocafe.com for information and availability.

This notice is not meant to offend anyone, but to insure that everyone who walks through our doors has a great time
